Our Training Programs

We provide two in-person certification programs at our University Locations. You can complete these certifications by completing 4 weeks of online self-paced pre-requisite courses, and then coming to our North or South University Campuses. 

We also have several virtual certification programs. These programs are also offered in-market by special request.

Casago Reservationist Certification (8 hrs over 5 day period; self-paced and virtual)

Casago Housekeeping Lead Certification (6 hours over 2 day period; self-paced and virtual training)

Casago Maintenance Lead Certification (6 hours over 2 day period; self-paced and virtual training)

Casago Basic Trust Accounting Training (8 hrs over 5 day period; self-paced and virtual)

Casago Housekeeping Lead Certification

The Casago Housekeeping Lead Certification is a virtual training designed to equip managers with the essential skills and knowledge to lead and oversee housekeeping operations in your Casago market(s). This comprehensive program focuses on cleaning standards, team management, and operational efficiency. Upon completion, housekeeping leaders  will be certified as proficient in managing day-to-day housekeeping tasks, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and overall operational excellence.

This program will consist of self-paced and webinar workshop sessions. Your trainer will reach out to you to coordinate webinar times. You will need to have 2 days available with approximately 6 hours collectively for self-paced and webinar time. In this course you will learn to:

  • Manage the housekeeping schedules and process flow with your housekeeping team within Streamline and the Property Care X App.
  • Manage cleaning costs per unit.
  • Complete cleans, inspections and add work orders.
  • Ensure all homes meet the Standard Property Appearance Guidelines.

Casago Maintenance Lead Certification

The Casago Maintenance Lead Certification is a virtual training designed to equip managers with the essential skills and knowledge to lead and oversee maintenance operations in your Casago market(s). This comprehensive program focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, vendor management, and operational efficiency. Upon completion, Maintenance Managers will be certified as proficient in ensuring properties are well-maintained, safe, and guest-ready at all times, contributing to a seamless guest experience and excellent owner relations.

This program will consist of self-paced and webinar workshop sessions. Your trainer will reach out to you to coordinate webinar times. You will need to have 2 days available with approximately 6 hours collectively for self-paced and webinar time. In this course you will learn to:

  • Manage maintenance issues and follow the process flow with your maintenance team within Streamline and the Property Care X App.
  • Manage maintenance costs per unit and ensure owner and vendor billing is accurate and efficiently managed.
  • Complete maintenance inspections.

Casago Basic Accounting Training

The Casago Basic Accounting Training is a virtual training is designed to provide franchise owners and accounting professionals with a comprehensive understanding of essential accounting practices within the short-term rental industry. This program focuses on trust accounting best practices, including reservation audits, disbursements, owner charges, month-end statements, undeposited funds, vendor payables, and bank reconciliation. Upon completion, participants will be proficient in managing financial operations accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining transparency in all financial transactions.

This program will consist of self-paced and webinar workshop sessions. Your trainer will reach out to you to coordinate webinar times. You will need to have 5 days available with approximately 8 hours collectively for self-paced and webinar time. In this course you will learn to:

  • Perform reservation audits to ensure accurate end of month accounting.
  • Perform disbursements so that all moneys are accounted and bucketed properly in their “accounts”.
  • Generate month-end statements accurately and on time for your owners.
  • Manage undeposited funds.
  • Manage and perform vendor payments.
  • Utilize PMC Journal Entry Reporting to manage your vendor buckets with your trust and operating account.
  • Perform a bank reconciliation.

Casago Franchise Owner Certification

The Casago Franchise Owner Certification Program is designed to equip our franchise partners with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources to successfully manage and operate short-term rental properties. This comprehensive program covers critical areas of property management, including Owner Relations, Property Onboarding, Homeowner Acquisition and Sales, Property Maintenance, Housekeeping Management, Accounting, and comprehensive training in the Streamline Property Management System. Upon completion, franchise owners will be certified in managing their properties according to industry best practices and Casago’s highest standards.

Prerequisite Online Training: You will begin online courses 4 weeks prior to your onsite training. It is critical that you complete this prerequisite training.

  • Introduction to Streamline (Week 1)
  • Creating Seasons (Week 2)
  • Create Taxes & Fees (Week 2)
  • Introduction to Property Onboarding in Streamline (Week 3)

  • Intro to Housekeeping (Week 3)
  • Introduction to Reservations (Week 4)

Onsite Course Outline: 5 days running from 9-4 each day

  • Casago Leadership: Apply best practices in leadership through scenario based application of the Schwab Pyramid.
  • ORANGE in Practice: Become a Casago Culture Ambassador and learn how to apply principles and values as a guiding tool to empower your team in their decision making as well as engaging them in purpose.
  • Homeowner Acquisition: Everyone is in sales! In this session you will learn how to build trust and overcome owner concerns, digging into the deeper owner centric needs.
  • Market Offerings and Regulations: This session is designed to review program offerings that have been applied in different ways across our partner markets. This is a strategy session to ensure you know how you will be configuring your property management system to fit your market regulations and program offerings.
  • Hands-on Property Onboarding: In this session, we will be onsite at a property and will evaluate what it means to be rental ready. We will perform an initial Maintenance Inspection and run through our property onboarding process. Later in the day, we will apply all that we learned at the property to onboard a property in Streamline.
  • Reservations Scenarios Training: This is a full day of training dedicated to understanding the full lifecycle of reservations. At the end of this session, you will be equipped to create reservations, move guests when needed, cancel reservations and ensure reservation revenue and fees are properly bucketed.
  • Applying Unreasonable Hospitality: Here we will strategize with you what program offerings you can bring to your market to bring Unreasonable Hospitality to life.
  • Hands-on Maintenance Management Training: This is an active session where we will walk through a property and issue multiple work orders. At the end of the session, you will be able to utilize the Property Care X App to create work orders and process work orders through their full lifecycle.
  • Hands-on Housekeeping Management Training: This session will focus on managing housekeeping from ensuring housekeeping standards are met. We will complete a housekeeping inspection and learn how to use the Property Care X App to complete the inspection as well as schedule a reclean or complete the cleaning lifecycle.
  • Property Evaluations: In this session, we will walk through a home to determine the rating of the home and discuss how to apply this program in your market and make this an owner centric conversation for improving home quality and revenue for the owner.
  • Accounting: This is a packed day of learning the full accounting process flow that will ensure your daily, weekly and monthly accounting processes work efficiently and accurately. You will be hands-on in the Streamline system reviewing what can go wrong if the flow breaks down.

Casago Property Manager Certification

Overview: The Casago Property Manager Certification Program is specifically designed to equip property managers with the expertise required to successfully oversee day-to-day operations of short-term rental properties. This comprehensive program covers critical areas of property management, including Owner Relations, Property Onboarding, Homeowner Acquisition and Sales, Property Maintenance, Housekeeping Management, and comprehensive training in the Streamline Property Management System. Casago Reservationist Certification

The Casago Reservationist Certification is a virtual training designed to provide reservationists with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage guest bookings, inquiries, and reservations for your Casago market(s). This training will equip participants with the tools to deliver exceptional customer service, optimize booking processes, and maintain seamless communication between guests. Upon successful completion, reservationists will be certified as proficient in handling reservations in Streamline Property Management System and understand the intricacies of reservations across multiple OTAs.

This program will consist of self-paced and webinar workshop sessions. Your trainer will reach out to you to coordinate webinar times. You will need to have 5 days available with approximately 8 hours collectively for self-paced and webinar time available. In this course you will learn to:

  • Create Reservations.
  • Finding a guest’s reservation based on a number of different criteria.
  • Adjusting reservations - extensions or moving guests.
  • Canceling guest reservations.
  • Manage guest inquiries and provide quotes.
  • Best practices of guest communication.
  • Creating work orders for maintenance issues that arise during a guest’s stay.
  • Adding additional guests.
